Mid-Rise Wood Construction was a partnership between the Ministry for Primary Industries and Red Stag Investments, established to encourage the use of New Zealand-grown timber in mid-rise, commercial and industrial buildings.
The programme concluded in June 2026. Its case studies, technical guidance and industry tools remain available here and through Timber Unlimited, supporting better-informed timber design and construction.
